The Servicesat transportable system is an automatic scanner polarizer and beam positioner system for a foldable two-way satellite antenna, such as the one used by Hughes DirecWay, Tachyon Networks, Satlynx, iDirect and other two way satellite solution providers.

It is designed to automatically find and acquire the satellite beam and the satellite position based on the GPS position reading and other positioning parameters. It is aimed for the nomad users who want to have high speed Internet access in remote locations where cable and DSL do not exist.

It provides two-way data communication over satellite based on DirecWay services offered by Hughes Network Systems. This allows mobile users with the capability to stop anywhere, under the satellite coverage, and to access Internet at broadband speed.

While maintaining the same functionality offered by Satellite providers, the transportable dish offers additional capabilities such as:

• Technically easy to install and to upgrade: eliminates the need for certified installer
• Satellite acquisition and lock within 2-5 minutes
• Satellite independent: works with any configured satellite
• Dish pointing is automatic and is fully software controlled
• Optimized signal reception and transmission
• Automatic signal cross polarization with confirmation from the NOC
• Fast reacquisition based on last good position
• System authentication with the service provider
• System monitoring based on GPS location
• Self-tracking navigation system Europe wide

The Servicesat transportable system consists mainly of the following components:

• 2-Way 0.74, 0.84, 0.96, 0.98, 1.2M, 1.6M and 1.8M Satellite Dish
• 2-Way modems
• Mount
• Controller Box ( Touch Screen )
